Sketch flood
Added 2019-05-26 18:56:46 +0000 UTCAfter the last couple of weeks I found I needed to start doing small sketches again to get the cobwebs out of the machine so to speak. I was greatly rusty, and still feel that I am as the sketches were absurdly rough this time around.
I also needed something almost ridiculously happy/pleasant to draw as well. A way to 'chase all the haunted things' out of my creative mindset and reset a little. I wanted to try doing really expressive images, chose to do them in a more cartoon-ish style so I didn't have to obsess over detailed anatomy and really.. I just wanted to lose myself for a little bit.
The results are below.
I'm working on the Patron sketch for last month now, at the end of this month. I apologize that I fell behind again on this, sometimes life just kind of comes at you all at once and I couldn't quite get my feet under me again.
Working on a painting as well, though will post more on that later.
