Was much too hot to sit in the studio, so I took a spin on the surface in cooler environs and sketched something fun/doofy.

I haven't found a pie I didn't like yet. I'm partial to shepherd's pie and rhubarb/strawberry myself. :) The Lorrnathi culture is drawn from parts of older European cultures as well as from the Gauls (Their language especially, is a derived/bastardized take on lost Gaulish texts). They have a touch of Bavarian roots (the buildings have a sort of Gothic western EU feel to them I think), as well as a bit from Norway and Greenland depending on what clan I'm representing in any given image. I even put in a little bit of old Romanian culture here and there, with some of their myths and folklore. I'm very glad you like!

I also really like the backgrounds and feel you put into your work. What is the heritage or cultural inspiration for it? I feel I should know and like it's on the tip of my tongue. The cultural influence and references are one reason I follow you. It reminds me of something from my childhood that I can't quite remember, but they are good and warm memories.
