This poni is worried about the insomnia of snow.
I recently picked up a Surface 4 so I could have something to be able to sketch in a more 'portable' capacity. When I had the recent renovations being done here I lost about two weeks of work as I had to be on premises while the contractor was around. The Surface would have been a godsend to have at that time.
I've had a recent flare up of a chronic bout of sciatica stemming from an injury I got many years back on a job. Its something that can last a fair while depending on how aggravated the nerve gets, and it makes sitting at a desk for a long time impossible. This time, however, I'm able to still sketch on the tablet, and I sketched this out a few days back after we got snow again in the area.
Snow is supposed to be 'sleeping' right now :/
Luckily it's cleared up today and temperatures are heading towards springtime values. But at the time, even Cinders was a bit tired of flurries and grey overcast skies.
I'm going to try and put the tablet to good use over the next while as I heal up, mostly doofy little sketches and fantasy maps. It is, so far, a very good little sketch tablet (though I would be wary of trying to do a painting on it given the limited amount of memory/disk size).
Here's to Spring sticking around.
