Finally managed to stop doing little details all over this image and decide its finished. Strangely, even with losing the original colours I was doing this was still a lot of fun to paint. I'm definitely sticking with this technique.
I'm taking a day off from doing artwork to get my eyes to stop pointing in different directions (and do other work), and will be sending out the note for the next Patron sketch after that.
