I've been whittling away at getting a bit more of my world fleshed out, which is a task that I don't think I'll truly finish in my lifetime.
With an upcoming campaign in the works I've 'zoomed in' to focus on a small grouping of islands off of the Aegencald Continent that are collectively known as the Kvarsvald Isles. It has a bit of a Iceland meets primordial feel, with a lot of places steeped in a weave of magic even older than the oldest ages of man.
I thought I'd show off the work in progress. With a few of the places mapped out and the names of the more major areas included. I had to actually learn how to map in this way again as I haven't been able to use Photoshop at all in over a year (the last tablet did *not* get along with it at all). Much of the credit goes to 'Pasis' who posted tutorials to the Campaign Cartographer's boards years and years ago. It was a good base to work with that offered up a good mix of realistic and functional.
Will have another post of comic roughs coming tomorrow or Sunday at the latest. In the final inking stages of Page 7 now.
Link to the image will go out shortly.
