A Short Update!

Hey all!

I have a couple updates this time around that I'd like to share.  It's been a bit of a busy month (in a good way) and I missed talking about a couple recent changes on how I'll be doing things here.

First up.  Going forward I want to try out giving 300dpi files to both the $10 and $5 tiers, and 150dpi to the $1 tier.  I've been mulling it over for a while now, and it would be a bit less work for me as it eliminates the 96dpi images I have to size and create each post, and it would be a bit more of a thank you to people giving anything they can give per month.  The $10 tier will still be getting the sketches (and maaaayyybe simple coloured offers in the future, no promises yet).  

Second, Patreon might be adding a 'charge up-front' feature.  This means that anyone new that signs up will be charged right away, and get access to things I post here.  While I'm sure the bot-programs that pledge will still find ways around it, it at least cuts down on the amount of end of the month block/reports I have to do on those accounts (I'd wager it becomes immediately obvious if they've declined payments).

This also might mean that I can make inline posts again, and not have to bother everyone with several messages full of links.  I'll see how other artists report the feature before I make that call.

The charge up-front feature won't have any effect on anyone who has already pledged.  That will start at the beginning of the month as it always has for folks already here.

Note that I haven't been 'selected' for this feature yet, so this is all theory right now of course.  I don't know what their selection process to get this feature turned on is or if it will make it out to everyone on Patreon.  They seem to just be trying it out with a selected group of high volume creators right now.
