Weekly Update - Number 12

Another week is upon us. Thank you all again for sticking around too! This week I'll be showing off some sketchwork, two panels of the comic (I'm on page 8, but have roughs I can show), I've hit a good groove with getting all of my ideas down in quick sketch-form instead of just taking forever to overwork things until 'perfect'.

I don't know if these would be considered spoilers. There isn't any of the dialogue there yet, but these are showing a little of the aesthetic, and some of the upcoming story, and I admit I'm a bit of a geek and want to share things sooner than later. The inks and colours for both should be done by next week.
It also answers a question I had about how most of my sketches have such clean lines. They really don't. Raw sketches tend to have very, very scribbly elements to them, as seen with these.
A bit of Wimple
A bit of bonus art. Expressions done for the upcoming Heroes of Morhost RPG authored by Paul Kidd. This was a warm-up picture I had done before drawing the icon sorceress of the book. And yes, she does look a lot like Maid Marian, which is hard to avoid when drawing from historical images of people in the time period. Plus it was requested she look a bit like that. I'm not complaining :D
Sketch Pick of the Week!
Last but not least, congrats to Rob Cassel for winning this month's sketch Illustration. I'll be in contact over the weekend to hammer out the details!
Thank you all again for helping along this path. It's been a huge learning experience, and I'm hoping I'm getting more in tune with doing this sort of work on a more deliberate basis.
