Cinders gleeful as snows begin to fall at her outdoor onsen. This started as a colour study in how to do more convincing lighting in snow and overcast conditions. It's surprising how muted colours that aren't direct sources of light become, and how incredibly subtle transitions to contrast are. It took a lot of experimenting with gradient masks to get this one looking 'snowy'.
Also, I'm upping the resolution for the $1 tier to 96dpi. I've realized that 72dpi is a bit low. Pictures will use 96dpi going forward.
