Devlog #65 - Update coming

Hi, I was meaning to update you at the halfway point of the month, but I had been backed up with so much work, so I was a little terrified I couldn't get an update out.

But hey, with enough determination, I'm on track for getting an update out before the end of this month, fingers crossed.

I've finished Gertrude's full storyline, although there was supposed to be a middle part to the quest, so it feels like Gertrude joining is a little sudden, but I'll fix that for a later date.

I've added a couple of new mechanics into exploration too.

Such as pygmy cows and special flowers you can feed them to gain a new material.

The player also rummages through their backpack when the inventory UI is open, a quick little feature, but it removes the annoying shoot attack when you're clicking on things in your inventory.

There are three different areas of the temple you can move to, although there isn't much to do in them as of right now. This current screenshot is of the menagerie, where a certain ritual will take place.

I'd also like to add some throne-paired animations, unlikely for this update as I'm still readying the implementation of the Cowgirl.

Speaking of them, they will be acquired through a quest given by Gertrude. After that, you'll be able to infuse the material you got and give it to them as a potion.

Anyways, I still have a lot to do!
So, just giving you a quick update so I can get back on with it.

Yeah, some features will carry over... depending on the coding part.

Wait so are we turning our followers with the potion into cowgirls? if so do they retain their hair and skin colours at least? I'd love a redheaded cowgirl.
