Tier Changes
Added 2024-09-27 16:22:26 +0000 UTCHi Guys, We have up coming tier changes, which I will post about in greater detail soon. But basically Apple have now insisted on charging all Patreon creators 30% on all new Patreon membership subscription, and so Patreon are now in a position where they are moving us all to monthly subscriptions instead of per creation. This is starting this November until everyone is swapped over. I think mine is due to start 1st November 2024. As you know I always release at least an episode per week so depending if its a four or five week month you always get 4 or 5 episodes a month plus any extra episodes and videos I release for you all to enjoy. I hope you can understand how stressful this is for us and many other creators as we stand to lose 30% of our income which is devastating! Patreon are helping and advising me what my new monthly tiers will be, but basically they are just taking an average 'episodes released' over the last three months and setting the new tier price to match that. So your new monthly subscription should be the same or similar to what you have already been paying.

Iโm afraid all existing patrons will also be migrated to the new monthly billing cycle and not pay per episode anymore. But the new monthly tiers will reflect what you already pay per month so it shouldnโt affect you too much ๐ And yes definitely need people to sign up NOT with the apple app! Browser is great ๐
