0.5.6 Devlog & 0.6 Document!

This is gonna be a short update in terms of 0.5.6. Simply know that i'm still ploughing on when I can grab the time, and I'm determined to get this out before the end of this month, both as a test build and a public build.

I've already mentioned before (numerous times, I'm sure!), but I've been thinking too about 0.6 - how I want to improve the game, how I can speed up development for me and make things all the more fun and juicy for you. This whole process (I'm talking from right back from when I first started this thing in Twine to right now) has taught me that planning and organization and structure are the key things to getting it to where I want it to be.

I still feel like there's a way to go - the whole of 0.5 has been such a learning experience in itself. Some of it works, and some of it is struggling under the strain now that I'm six updates deep, and if Girl Games is going to continue to grow and get even more complicated (in a good way!) then there's gonna need to be some reworking and refactoring - which is what a lot of 0.6 is going to be about.

I can't promise what follows is fun (or even makes complete sense to anyone but me!), but I've put together a kind of development document - both for myself to keep me on track, and also for you so that you can see what I'm planning and get a clearer idea of what I mean when I throw out terms like "I need to rework the player data structure!" etc.

I've put the whole thing online as a public Google Doc - which you can access here - and I've even enabled commenting on it, so if anyone wants to offer any advice, thoughts, criticisms or silly emojis, then go wild!
