Work so far ...

Now the dust has settled on 0.5.2, I'm straight back at it, chipping away at the next update, which I'm hoping to have out before the end of this month. As I mentioned in the last post, now that I have a lot of the city functionality up and running, this should be a little quicker, although there's still some new stuff to implement. 

I really want the adult bookstore video cabins to be working for 0.5.3, and I got a lot of the basic functionality done this morning. You see, there's a timer, that counts down, plus whatever movie plays on the screen itself, and let's not forget the random cocks that'll pop through the hole too, each one triggering its own little mini scene. 

I also started work on the extra stuff needed on the paperdoll display to accommodate things like stiletto heels. I've added the items themselves to the store, but if you can imagine, if the player is wearing them, then I need to switch out the base player image for one who's feet are a little slimmer (so they're not poking out the sides of the heels, which just looks terrible!), plus the extra logic for if they're wearing socks beneath the heels, etc, etc. 

And yesterday I got the first draft of Heather's slightly rewritten third scene back up and running - the one where she teaches you to dance! 

Damn. The more I think about it, the more I start to realise that there's still a ton to be done on this update before I'm ready to release it! I obviously still need to fully write add in Jennifer's third scene, plus I want to get the bug with the older woman at the nightclub sorted out, plus I need to add in some kind of 'dance practice' option ... 

So yeah, that's where I'm at: chipping away (in the mornings and evenings, around my real job), and I'll be back in a few days to keep you all updated on my progress.
