October's Riso Print / WIP + Special Sale Code

Hello & happy spooky season!!

I'm currently in Denmark teaching a week-long Riso workshop at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, but I was so sad to miss Lightbox this year because of it! I hope to be there next year, and hopefully attend Thought Bubble someday again as well! I also won't be at Tokyo Comic Con again, I'm really going to lay low next year so I can work on some bigger projects- we'll see!

And here are a few WIPs behind the scenes sketches and process pieces that lead up to the full making of this Golden Beetle print! I think this one is really cool- and perfect for Halloween! I'm still working on the story for this one- it's a little more complicated than the Moon Witch, so I'd like to share it fully later.

And here's what the original digital color looks like when it's actually printed!

I lost a little bit of the detail in the pinks, but I think I gained a lot in the yellows, especially in the columns. Looking forward to using more of this abstracted cave-like line for future pieces- I feel like I really unlocked something fun with this!
