Updates! CALA, Print Updates, + A new Magic card!

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your patience on October and November’s prints. Lots of people have been reaching out and I’m so sorry they’re behind- I’m getting them out asap so they can still arrive by the holidays.

Despite having them printed before my trip to Japan they weren’t able to get out of the studio until last week/this week because of the series of holidays and sickness, plus the filtering system on patreon is extremely confusing for November and I'm still waiting for Support to get back to me. Please know I’m back in LA and we’re working to get the rest of the prints out asap!

As a reminder, October’s print was the Chappell Roan inspired 'Dragon Warrior', and November’s print was 'Over The Garden Wall'! If you paid on the 1st of either of those months you’ll be receiving those prints.

This weekend is CALA!

If you’re in LA, come stop by Comic Arts LA over in Glendale at the Homenetmen Ararat, which is a community center off San Fernando by Forest Lawn- just north of Atwater Village.

I’ll be sharing a table with Victoria Ying and sitting next to Peow2 at table 27A! And I’ll be talking on a panel about techniques for the Riso on Saturday from 3-4pm. Come say hello!!

Confirmed Cons this year/ but overall doing fewer!

This year I'm going to try and cut out some of the convention income and focus on long term projects. There are a few shows I hate to miss so I’m still doing about 5 of my favorites still, but overall I'll be choosing to stay home or do small pop ups in my studio rather than travel.

I’d love to combine some of my long term goals with my Patreon this year, so I’m loosely planning to do some character and world building prints for a story I’ve been writing for a long time. Still debating dedicating the whole Patreon to this but I think it’d be fun to keep my regular themes and scenes but include some consistent characters you’d be able to recognize throughout my prints. More on this soon!

Here are the Comic Cons and Art Festivals I’m already on the books for next year— I’ve just accepted my ECCC table in Seattle, MoCCA fest is right after that in New York, then Festival of Books in LA, San Diego Comic Con in the summer, and then hopefully Gen Con again and I think that’ll be it for the year! There’s always the possibility of NYCC and Lightbox but they’re on an every other year cycle so I’m not sure I’ll be going since I went this year.
