Sale! + October Print Update / Silver Sprocket in SF Tonight

Heyoo everyone, wanted to stop in with some updates this week!!

First, I'll be in San Francisco tonight at Silver Sprocket for a Riso presentation and party, part of my Dreaming in Color book release tour! 7-9pm tonight in the Mission on Valencia.

There will be themed drinks, an exclusive print with Riso opacity numbers for each color, and a how-to-Riso wall! I'll also be signing books and chatting casually about Riso printing.

Early Shop Sale for Patrons

I just wanted to say here, thank you all for sticking with me after such a chaotic year. I ended up biting off way more than I could chew and therefore will definitely be simplifying next year. I did 23 tabling events ranging from small one day pop ups to 5 day comic cons, sometimes back to back- Plus a wedding! All while the Riso has been especially difficult- with a sassy feed motor and jumping out of time haha big sigh. I can’t push this Riso any more than I have…maybe a new machine is in order! Big changes will have to happen in my life in the new year and right now I’m taking it one day at a time, figuring it out as I go! I’ve loved every second of it but I have long term goals I’d like to focus on, and share with you here!! For now I’d like to thank you all with a lil discount if you’ve been eyeing anything in particular.

Update on October’s print

I’ve finally finished the line art for October’s prints, with flatting happening this weekend and printing next week! I’m REALLY excited about this print and can’t WAIT to color it. Anyone who signed up before October/paid on October 1st will be getting this print! 

November prints (Over The Garden Wall) are halfway printed, they’ll be shipping later in November! 

Subscription billing update and clarity~~ 

This month I officially switched over to subscription billing- which means when patrons sign up they’re charged on the day they sign up and then the same day next month, instead of only on the 1st like it’s been before. Patrons who got in before Nov 1 will still be on the 1st of the month schedule, like always! This means this will now be the print schedule for new patrons- 

Sign up Nov 1-30 to get December’s print (most pay on Dec 1), shipping prints late December/early January. 

Sign up Dec 1-31 to get January’s print, shipping late Jan/early Feb. 

That’s a long time to wait for some people, but I promise I’m working hard to send you really cool stuff! I just want to keep it a blind box as much as I can to keep making fun, spontaneous work that’s cheaper than in my shop and doesn’t rely on how many subscribers I’m getting. Thank you all for your trust and excitement- I can’t wait to send you more cool riso prints :3
