Autumn Creatures with Tales Untold / September's Print

Hey everyone! Thank you again for your patience on this print. Another tricky color situation with the new palette but I think I got it right and now I'm VERY excited about it!!

We're shipping these out this week, should arrive to you next week! Sticker tiers are right behind them, should be out by next week fort August and September!! It's been a rough summer, thank you so much for your patience again.

This Autumn Creatures print was printed with yellow, aqua, and scarlet red Riso ink! This is the first time since the Mamu + Anna print I've used red line art on, I can't believe I've let it go this long- the red line is GORGEOUS.

Had an issue for about 2 weeks where the printer wouldn't make masters- turned out there was pieces of master roll in the back of the master making unit...classic Riso being a psycho. All fixed now, and now I know what to do if this happens again! Every time the Riso breaks it feels so scary...but then I call on the Riso community and ask friends and they give me some ideas...and then I try a few more things out and with a little more bravery and risk I find a way to fix the Riso. This time I turned the machine on in tech mode, took out the master making unit and forced the (stuck) master roll out of the unit. Turns out the master roll had an image already printed on it, but it lodged in the back of the master making unit instead of rolling out onto the drum. It was really stuck and I was really nervous I'd leave pieces of the master inside the unit, damaging something else...but after a little more tugging it came right out! Terrifying...fascinating...

I'll do a full breakdown of this piece soon- just wanted to share it with you now that it's officially ready!!! Just printed all the yellows and blues to let them cook, but the air is pretty dry and I'm not having too much trouble with roller marks so I'll be printing the red on these tomorrow or the next day!
