I almost scrapped this page. However. in trying to draw a replacement page over the past couple of days I realized that I like this one, and it just needed some fixing. So let me show you what I did and explain why.

OK, so, obviously the first panel is the main problem. Toph is a willing and active participant in this whole thing and she's just splayed out like a fish. I didn't like it. I wanted her to be a little more aggressive with Colt. The other thing is that her breasts seem a little too "balloon-ish" Obviously this is hentai and they're supposed to be large and gravity-defying, but there's this fine line I want to walk. There is also the problem of her leg. Generally, if I'm trying to make a girl look attractive, I try to emphasize the arch in her back, so I'm not keen to obscure it. That's why her leg is this shortened monstrosity. I'm moving it in an unnatural way to make the arch in the back visible. Finally, there's the way she doesn't match the perspective of the bed. I know the original idea is that she's sort of arching her back down, but I don't think I executed it very well.

Fixing all of these problems began with fixing perspective as much as possible. It still isn't perfect, but it's much better and provided a framework for getting that panel, and therefore this page, where it needed to be.

I had to redraw her stomach at a different angle, a properly proportioned leg, and get her arms grasping Colt as if to hold him in place.

I've still got some stuff to clean up and fix, but I think this is a massive step in the right direction.
