I recolored the first three pages of Chapter 2
Added 2023-06-07 07:56:39 +0000 UTCThe lighting REALLY bothered me. It was coming from a bunch of different directions, and was inconsistent page to page. This ruined the form. I like these pages. I added this section mostly so I could draw them, and I wanted them to be good. So I took a week to go over them and fix them. So I used some digital mannequins to get a reference like this.
Kinda cringe, but it gives me a good lighting reference for this stuff. I used this reference and applied it to the old drawings. That means nonsense rimlights disappear, and more cast shadows which make them feel as big as they should be.
I'm putting the finishing touches on the third page tomorrow. Everything else in this chapter seems OK and I'm going to be collating it all for gumroad. I also have to finish the commission from last month, and then start work on Chapter 3.

Thanks. Making the references adds an extra step, but removes a lot of guesswork and makes things look way better in the end.
