Yes, this is really happening for real this time. This is not a standalone preview; this is a clip from the beginning of episode one of season two of Gone. Given that last time I previewed the second season I didn’t have much concrete completed, this time I wanted to wait until preproduction was completed and actual production was well underway before I shared anything.
So what’s completed? The season—all eleven episodes—has been written. Two additional voices have been cast. Recording has started and I’ve mostly finished the first couple of episodes.
When can you expect the completed season to drop into your podcast feed? By the end of May. I don’t have a hard premiere date set yet but at the very least the season will be finished and the first few episodes will be out in the world by then.
Expect a couple of eps up front and then the rest likely released weekly. At this point I don’t intend to set up a separate Patreon account for the podcast; all supporters of this one will receive episodes early as well as some bonus content and possibly other goodies.
I‘ve been trying to make this happen for years. I understand that some people probably pretty much gave up on it; I never did. When you hear it, I hope you feel like it was worth the wait. Regardless, thanks so much for your support. 🖤
