Hi everyone! We are still stateside and spending time in Virginia with friends and Kyde's family. I got this video edited together over the past few days of downtime we have finally had and plan on getting one more out next week if everything goes perfect haha. Had a lot of fun editing this one though, it was a great day of exploring a bit of Hokkaido very few people seem to even mention, but it's really worth a visit from my two experiences of checking it out.
Not sure what I will edit next, either another Gunma video (of which there are a few in total from a very fun trip) or another Hokkaido video. There are just a couple left from that trip...a bit embarrassing as it's now been nearly a year since it was filmed haha. If only I could edit as fast as we can film.
Of course we will have some videos from NYC coming eventually too, but before we start that series I figure we should finish another.
Keep an eye out for livestreams of course, I plan to do one tomorrow morning VA time and once I get the next edit done hopefully some more from areas around Fredericksburg like Richmond and DC. twitch.tv/kydeanderic

What a surprise I found in my mail box today. It was a post card from NYC! Thank you so much for sending one while you are on your holiday trip through the US, I would imagine you both are quite busy. I hope your having fun visiting family and friends. Take care of yourselves:-)

2024-08-26 15:28:52 +0000 UTCAlso I believe that abandoned rail line you saw was the remnants of the Aioi Line that closed in 1985 during the late JNR days. When I lived in Kitami I used to visit an Ainu man who was a very good wood carver. I regret not taking him up on buying one of his pieces.
