Since you guys are asking, here is my feedback given the video process. Firstly, I am certainly a minority with this opinion, but I do not care how quickly you guys turn around the production. The difference between a day and two weeks is not important to me because I will enjoy the show whenever it is done and tend to do so over a period of days (which is why this feedback is so late). What I do care about is the quality of the production. For example, if this is the only way to avoid those de-syncs then I would prefer this production pipeline to the other. I also would definitely like to see Tasteless back on screen, it is a bit awkward, but I am sure that can be sorted over time. As for some miscellaneous feedback, I generally prefer subtitles over dubs in any production. However I do not watch most of the player interviews. They tend to be very samey except in very specific circumstances, so for me the dubs there are just fine. What I do miss are the translated break segments. Those mini shows are fun, and full of chances to see the personality of the pros. This also goes for the group selection, but for that specific vod its better for a quicker turn around than for subtitles. This is because I would rather it be done before the first group match following. Having it afterward means I will not want to watch due to it having basically been spoiled by that first match's graphics etc. Lastly I would prefer that the in game promotion of the Patreon not include a full screen splash covering game play. While I want you guys to be supported and have no issue with you bringing it up mid game, the act of covering the game is over the edge for me. I really like the subtle differences in the opening minutes of the games, so covering it for the sake of this promotion robs me of that chance. Note, this is a gripe I have with tournaments in general. They like to cut to stuff like cheerfuls or player cams during these times and that is just as bothersome for me. Instead, using the lower third to display this splash is far more preferable. The section between the player cams is perfect, or even most of the lower third as player cams are not as important during those moments. Cheers, FIGBird

Not seeing Tasteless is a bit of a bummer, but it's a sacrifice I'm happy to make in the interests of getting these a few days sooner. Before this, I was on the fence about whether to remain a subscriber because it felt like there were long waits and still lots of quality issues. With this, I'll definitely stay.

2023-09-21 16:20:11 +0000 UTCI appreciate how fast this was uploaded. I think I pointed out the commentary track being a couple of seconds ahead of the video before. I mainly did it because I assume none of the production team watches the videos so they wouldn't know otherwise. It was still totally watchable, and so is this format. I think I need to see another video to tell which one I prefer. But I would totally be willing to wait a few more days if the finished product is better in your judgement. As a side note, I loved the commentary on that crazy game on Invader where Best forgot to build the middle of the boat.

I really appreciate your commitment to putting out VODs quickly and for thinking about the needs of the English-speaking community in general. That being said, I personally do not like the new format. I really like seeing both of you together before games and when you recap the action. I think it adds a certain something to the quality of the video because although I watch for the Broodwar content, I also watch because of Tastosis and your brilliant chemistry. And even the ASL outro at the end that has the music play you out is something I also find special. I even tracked down the ending song from last season because it reminded me of that warm satisfaction you get when you finish watching a great BW series. Long story short, and personally speaking, I am fine with waiting the extra time it takes to keep those polishing touches (And Tasteless’ beautiful face) which make your ASL casts so high quality. As somebody who complained about the swap to dubs, this makes it a lot more tolerable and I'm already back to watching the conversation segments again. The only thing I think is a noticeable quality loss is the thumbnail, which is the least important ppad. Thanks for the content!
