I can't keep doing this fractal download nightmare every month. I love your resin models, I love your STL sculpts, I love your products 100%. I just can't keep up with your release model. I'm subscribed to 4 other patreons for this exact service and none of them require this much deep-diving and re-starting. It's gotten WORSE by upping myself to the higher tier, because now I have TWO posts to watch, to see if you guys missed something until the last three days before you delete everything. Within those posts, everything's duplicated like 5 times and the file naming convention doesn't make anything clearer. The other patreons that use Sync have ONE download, with all the files ready, and after listing the characters included there's an all-in-one zip at the end. You can tell its the full pack because it's named the same thing as the all-encompassing folder. For the patreons that use MMF or dropbox, there's literally one click and everything's saved. I either get a message from MMF that they've shared the new release and it's in my library, or I hit "save to my dropbox" and it's added to my shared drive with nobody having to download anything. Then I just stick it in my own organized folders and I can look through all the releases from that patreon nice and easy. I LOVE the sculpts you guys do, but this is currently the most stress-inducing patreon I've ever supported. I have to worry that my downloads won't work, that I'm missing files from my downloads, AND I have to manually download everything to my drives before manually uploading everything to my own cloud storage. Everything's at constant risk of being lost! I know you guys have talked about doing your own platform, and it can't come soon enough. It's gotta remember who I am, what I've supported for, and get me my files before you guys yank them away again. I almost lost my shit at work last month, when I remembered there were only 28 days to February, so I'd overshot the download window waiting for you guys to get your files together. Hell, even now I'm on the precipice as I desperately try to download all the zips and hope I get everything in the next 45 minutes.

I was able to download everything without any issues. My suggestion for the future would be that you have a clearer file structure. Put everything the Leader Tier gets in one folder, the additional Phalax tier contents in another folder, and the Overlord tier stuff in a third folder. Great job on the sculpts, guys. Thanks!

Short of grabbing files 1 at a time every download attempt is failing, including the zip and RAR files that have the whole package in it. I'm getting either "server issues" as the reason the download failed or corrupted files that can't be unzipped if the download completes. Going one file at a time is also taking 10 plus minutes a file.

If there is no passage on a storage platform like mmf with link to an account I think I will stop soon. It was already constraining, knowing that the number of models has increased, it is now laborious. I'm not even sure I'll download all the models before the deadline since Sync is running out of time...

Try the zip files. It seems that downloading those individual full pack zip files is no problem what so ever. If you do the whole thing in one go then Sync is just calculating etc. Have seen this with many patreons.

Making file changes 2 days before the cutoff when sync is such a pain to use is a real bummer... I downloaded early this month specifically to avoid a last minute scramble to ensure I had all the correct files. I understand you probably are just trying to save money by not paying MMF to give us access to these, but at a certain point it just isn't worth it. I will probably stick around for another month just to complete the Olympus set, but I'll be unsubscribing after that if there isn't a better, perpetual download solution like all the other Patreons I follow.

Horray - "all files available now." But.. how do I know which ones I don't already have? Am I really just expected to go through the folder and compare file dates, or something? This is, unfortunately, an organizational nightmare... You need a changelog. Something like "March 29th - Added Support files for Leonidas, updated Support files for Ares, etc" I'm reading some posts above and yeah, you need someone to focus on organization and delivery here. Great models, poor communication and delivery - at least in the two months since I've been here.

It is now March 29, 2021, and the last time the changelog was updated was on March 23, 2021. That changelog mentioned that there were still files missing, but did not specify which ones only that they were being worked on. From many of the posts, I've been seeing it would appear that there are also issues with the files that are available. Communication from RH other than to start a thread about April's offerings has been basically non-existent. With minimal days left to download this month's offerings and files still missing or broken RH needs to extend the time that March's files are available to download. While the idea of the Overlord tier sounds great especially when looking at the value verse the minimal increase in monthly cost to support at that level, the reality seems to be proving otherwise. I understand that many who offer a selection of 3D models and/or terrain each month for a minimal monthly fee are often small studios/companies the others seem to have all of their stuff on offer for each month available well before the last three days of the month. I don't know what is going on at RH, but it seems to me that perhaps you've taken on more responsibility than you were ready for with the launch of the Overlord tier. It also seems that you may be in danger of losing backers and should that end up being the case it will more than likely be due to your seeming refusal to use My Mini Factory as at least a secondary file-sharing resource and perhaps most of all your lack of communication. With the number of supporters who have made posts regarding the missing and/or broken files and the dwindling number of days left to download this month's offerings, you RH are starting to come across as though you've got the money from backers and that's all that matters. If there have been legitimate internal problems that have prevented you from making the corrected and complete files available in a reasonably timely manner then you should communicate that along with what you plan to do to rectify the situation. Most people would be understanding. That, however, is pretty much the exact opposite of what you are doing. If RH does not address this issue by the end of the day Tuesday, March 30, 2021, I will be left with no other choice but to stop supporting this Patreon and use that money to support a Patreon that is better run/organized and more communicative with supporters.

Late completion of all the files and the files that are available are an organisation nightmare... For the overlord no complete zips and the bulk zip files are not consistent in the mapping... Zips in zips in zips.... Damn guys i love your stuff, but appoint somebody to check if everything is consistent for us the end user because if there is one thing you need to work on it's this. In short: your work is awesome, ideas i love them, but delivery please improve it...

So the latest update to this post was on the 23 and it mentions that there are still some missing files that are being worked on. We are in the last days of the month it would be nice if all the files could be made available in a more timely manner. I prefer to get everything in one download session. It makes it less likely that I end up with multiple copies of the same file, or from accidentally deleting the wrong file when there are corrected files. While the sculpts are always great and the value in terms of model count is excellent I think there is room for improvement in a few key areas. Top among those is in the approach to file sharing. Another is the time it takes for all of the files and corrected files to be uploaded. People shouldn't have to wait till the last few days of the month for everything to be available. If the file-sharing was done with My Mini Factory this would not be an issue as the files would be there in our libraries which would allow us to download and print files as needed while freeing up space on our computers. I would also say that perhaps a little improvement could be made on communication. For example, it is possible that all the files have been made available for the Overlord tier however as there has been no update to the initial post on this thread I have to go off the information that is available. I understand that a lot of work goes into producing these files at what is an incredible value so please don't take this as a lack of appreciation, but rather as the constructive criticism it is intended to be.

Seems the supported versions are in the file structure, but not the zips [that *should* be a wrapped version of the file structures]. All but the Spartan Troop B can be found if you go to download them seperately. So I guess we're only really 1 model short if we all put in the work. But that's not a good look in itself, and certainly not for the first month post-expansion.

Just got done downloading. No issues using Sync If I just download the prezipped files. That said, the organization of these files is a nightmare. I had to download 7 different zip files to get everything. There were also zip files within the unsupported leader zip file that were just duplications of models found already in the higher level zip file. There are also some missing files within the heroes presupported files (Aphrodite was missing) so I had to go through and download those separately. I don't have the issues with using sync that a lot of people do. However, there needs to be some serious effort put into making these files a lot more organized especially with the addition of the new tier. The prezipped files should also be at the top level directory, not buried within their corresponding folders. I shouldn't have to go searching if I just want to download everything.

Yes RH designs blow me away every month, all for amazing value but it's now becoming too much hassle and frustration combined with minimal to no communication to backers.

The `Supported Batch` ZIPs are patches for existing downloads? That's after having to go into each individual folder and download. (And redownload when Sync gets sync-ey.) You have almost 4000 supporters and every single one of these people are expected to download all the respective folders and then cross reference the batch files? Let's say it takes 50 clicks (which is probably too low of a number) to download everything. That's 200,000 clicks. Then that's a ton of confused supporters trying to figure out which files in which folders need to be replaced. You could post 2 zip files with a version number on them and replace them when updates are posted: heroes-infinite-2021-03-leader-unsupported-v1.zip heroes-infinite-2021-03-leader-supported-v3.zip (Including a changelog file in each would be super appreciated bonus.) That's a ridiculously large amount of wasted time and mindshare that one person could prevent by spending a few extra minutes to manage. If I sound like a broken record, it's because it's such a simple mathematical formula for me to calculate from the outside looking in. I'm sure there are plenty of other circumstances that affect these decisions. But please, please, please think of your 4000 supporters. Maybe even work through a usability study and walk through the experience of downloading a release.

download pre-zipped files. worked fine for me. on regular download can't download even a small folder (calculated.....). i'm on fiber network with more that 500mbits upload\download speed.

Just in case anybody having trouble has not realized... there are zip files in each folder with the whole release, both supported and unsupported. You can just download that individually. I did, and downloaded everything within 10 minutes. The DL started right away. If you try to DL the whole folder sync tries to zip it all together and that's what takes forever, plus you are effectively downloading everything twice.

Been trying to download the files from Sync for the past week. Was really looking forward to this months release, but I will be very disappointed if I am unable to download any of the supported files before they are removed at the end of the month... as I said, I have been trying with no success, Sync has always been frustrating and time-consuming- but usually works eventually. I just finished downloading and unzipping a few minutes ago (all bulk zipped files available for Overlord tier), and here's what I'm finding: - Zeus and Zeus Epic (unsupported) are both the same file size, so either a second supported version wasn't necessary or they uploaded the wrong alternate unsupported version. - Spartan Troop B (supported) is still missing - Aphrodite (solo, not on horse, supported) is missing - Nyx (small, supported)

yeah Sync is a horrible download platform for mass downloads. I want to support your miniatures. But i will not do so if you are using sync. Its is a major pain in the ass for the user. Having to download each file is a huge time suck. I two second My Mini Factory. They are the reason why im here and discovered your miniature line. A simple click to download all files, A library that lets me download whenever.

I vote MMF, some of the other patreons I subscribe to uses this as well and it can give you the rights to all the packs you have supported during the months, so there is no chance of losing anything or not being able to download in time.

I just wanna point out that the changelog for the march 22. update is wrong. It says; "Almost every files are now supported, only some parts for the centerpiece, one centaur and one spartan troopers are missing, this should be resolved within a couple of days!" But the new zip/folder for Presupported files still lack at least the following: - Aphrodite (Regular version - not the Overlord-tier model) - Nyx ("Small" version that is included in the unsupported pack) - Zeus ("Epic" version that is included in the unsupported pack) - The smaller Minotaur from the "Troops"-zip in the unsupported pack (I suppose this is available in the Phalanx-folder, but it's still missing to the Patreons who only pledge at Leader-tier. To this point, the "missing" Spartan and Centaur are there as well already.) On the other hand, contrary to what the changelog suggests, there seems to be files for the entire centerpiece when compared to the unsupported ones. But I haven't opened each piece individually to check them. Personally I think the small and Epic versions of the heroes are fairly inconsequential. But Aphrodite needs to be supported, and overall it seems a little sloppy to not have 1:1 parity between the unsupported and supported sets. And I may be wrong, so I'd encourage anyone to chime in if they feel I'm wrong on any account. The models themselves are great. I just wish the organization gets better in the coming months.

Dan and Austin are correct, it will cost more and be more buggy to make your own website to release files, especially if you do not have the bandwidth to support a few hundred people downloading gigabytes at a time. The very least you can do is have the files up for two months and send patrons a link for the second month. I am fairly certain last months files are mostly incomplete to me, as for other months, i was never aware you added files halfway through the month. So for me personally, MMF should be your primary consideration because that seems to be the overwhelming consensus in the comments here. I would also like to see more community intereaction from you both here and on facebook. I never see replies to comments here and it takes days to get replies to private messages.

Have all the files, (both pre-supported and unsupported) including all corrections been posted yet? Since RH refuses to join My Mini Factory and send the files to backers My Mini Factory accounts like most other STL types Patreons do then at the very least RH could send out emails to backers letting them know when corrections or new things have been added to each month's release.

We're now over halfway through March, and we still don't have all the supported files. I would also like it if RH did like some of the other patreons I'm part of do, and have the files available on MMF, so if they're redeemed there you can still access them after the month is over. Just my two cents.

I will add my voice to this. I just upgraded to the Overlord level, so paying more. It is half way through the month and the full selection isn't supported and if I don't get it downloaded by the end of the month I loose it so if something delays me I am just out money. There are too many other creators of similar content that have moved to other services for this to not be a fairly easy switch. MyAirBridge gives the exact same functionality as Sync does but does it well and consistently, at the very least you should open up that. Long term MMF is a great idea if you already sell there which it looks like you do. And if you want to make patrons life long go back thru previous months and add those to accounts also. I know when some of mine did that I was ecstatic and honestly they will always get my money if I have it.

Normally the Stuff you guys do is pretty nice sorted and labeled but in this pack you did a bad job tbh -.- double unsupported file and then letting people wait too long for supported versions -.-

I'd also like to suggest that H.I. consider adding these files to My MiniFactory like some other creators do. E.g. they just send me a link to claim all the files from the previous month (as long as I was the patron) and they appear in: "My Library/Objects shared with me" part of my account over at MMF. That way everything is stored over at MMF and H.I. don't have to worry about sending new links etc...

They should probably add MyAirBridge or similar file hosting solution. Sync just isn't able to accommodate this stuff very well anymore.

Thank you for these links even if some files, because of their size, need to be downloaded several times. On the other hand, I can't see any difference between the Ares.stl and Ares_Epic.stl files, yet there must be one that weighs 1040kb.
