Surgery Update

09/22 11:54AM: My tumor, Jerry, is out! I came out with a bad stutter, unfortunately, but I’m good physically. I’m blessed. They also found lymph nodes that the cancer had spread to and took those out. They’re debating taking the right side of my thyroid out, too, if it’s affected😩

I don’t remember falling asleep. It was like I blinked and was awake. I didn’t even get to the point where they gave me the anesthesia because the calming meds knocked me out 😂 I’m exhausted as all hell, can barely walk, and am suuuuuuuper dizzy. I lived by the grace of God.

UPDATE 4:09am: I’m not gonna lie, I feel so discouraged with this stutter :/ My voice is my job. They did a head ct, nothing is wrong with my brain. Initially, we thought it was the anesthesia, but since it hasn’t worn off, it could be that my vocal cord nerve was stressed/damaged during the surgery. Idk how I’m supposed to pay my bills next month because I haven’t been able to work and clearly can’t work with a stutter. I haven’t been able to sleep since the surgery because I’m stressed and in so much pain. I feel like my future is so unstable, this has been my only job for half a decade, now. What do I do? I’m so tired, guys. I love you guys. I really do. I’m sorry for being such a let down. I hope you know that I’m so grateful for you all, no matter what.

UPDATE 10:49am: I’m still running on no sleep and am super stressed about this stutter. It sucks so bad to sound like this, but I am just praying that it goes away. Many people on discord asked if they could donate, so I set up donation tiers on Throne for those who want to help. I know the last few months have been a lot and I’ve needed help a lot. I just pray that you guys stick with me and know that I’m doing all I can to get back to you guys and deliver good content.
