Jaha actually gets asked why he so conveniently knows about this potential new bunker by bellamy. Turns out that when they planned to send the 100 kids to the ground, they first had to brainstorm locations/facilities that could sustain 100 kids on a potentially still radioactive planet. The bunker of this cult leader was one option they found, but it was quickly scrapped as mount weather was a superior option (being an official government bunker and all)

That girl in Egypt explode because she was near a nuclear reactor when it exploded, everyone else here is dying or going to die because once the nuclear reactor explodes it release a lot of radiation. Octavia lied to Rowan about who took the flam because if he knew who it was he would have them killed and she didn’t want Indra’s daughter to die. Great creation can’t wait for the next one!
