rewatching this review is so funny to see joe/jei go off about nobody dying in this show 12 episodes in but literally for 4 seasons of my hero the show that he loves there’s literally only 1 death .....for 4 WHOLE SEASONS .... 1 death

no i mean the new naruto i can’t wait till you guys see this next fight

Scroll down or search it

where is the naruto

Personally, I don't see the hype with this show. There is so much better anime!

The reason Sukuna is interested in Fushiguro is because he found his technique interesting during their fight. He saw a lot of potential in him, especially at the end just before Yuji swapped out when Fushiguro was about to unleash something. Like they mentioned in 14 Sukuna usually does stuff just for his own pleasure and on his own whim.

I think Jujutsu Kaisen is one of those shows where its best binged, a lot of the references and explanations are very quick. A lot of the time missing a few lines of dialog can make a big difference. So its easier to watch if you go through it all at once, I will say season 1 seems to focus mostly on building the world, establishing the villains and starting to build out the conflict. For a first season that can be fine, I think what really pulled this show up was the animation, ost and fights. Also with having watched the sub first, theres some weird choices that the dub makes with the dialog sometimes where it makes very sharp turns with the tone.

And now that your at the halfway point let’s summarize episode 1-13: the beginning of the season is basically the beginning of the end, your entering into a world that’s already been established just with a fresh set of eyes with our main character Itadori. His morals in the beginning was that he wanted to guide people to proper deaths and protect those closes to him even if it meant sacrificing himself to do so (episode 4 was when he made that decision) and where he ends up with his morals is perfect, he finally made the decision to kill people because in that situation it was better to give them some form of mercy than living as a curse (also those curses was children so it was much harder to kill them). And the line “I don’t want to lose again” is self explanatory he doesn’t want to lose anymore friends, family anyone closes to him after losing Junpei.

The pacing for Jujutsu Kaisen is fast for the anime which is perfectly fine cause it lines up perfectly as an adaptation from the manga. Like I said last review the creator doesn’t waste time when getting to main point of the story.

Just some clarifications: Yuji did kill them, he clarified it when talking to nanami when he mentioned that he killed someone today Sukuna has no reason to help yuji unless it affects him. Even with that deal he made, he said he only wanted to make a pact because he wanted to see something interesting (he was thinking about fushiguro at the time) not because he has any attachment to yuji. He in fact seems to enjoy yuji’s suffering and has never actually helped him to help him
