I think Grogu's end won't be ending with the Rise of Kylo Ren, I think Grogu is going to end up in that orphanage that has the force children shown at the end of the Last Jedi, his life span is many years so technically he still be in his youth during the timeline of Episodes VII, VIII & IX. Of course this is just wishful thinking but they really left the force children shown in Last Jedi a cliffhanger and didnt revisit it during Episode IX

LOOL This watchalong was peak. Loved it. Whole rollercoaster of peakness. I do rate that they t ended with some MAJOR crud coming with Boba Fett. Luke's entrance and cameo was hard but I just don't like that character. Just seems like a blank, depthless, all about good and hope type character that they use whenever the story requires it or a Jedi master cuz no one else is available. I'm disappointed that Grogu's story has been somewhat tainted now that he's with Luke because we saw how Luke's school and students ended up so unless somewhere in that Luke storyline before Ben Solo mash up everyting, Din, Ahsoka or Ezra came in and got Grogu then peaced out, Grogu is most probably a goner or out there alone somewhere again :/

Loved this and have seen it 4 times after watching your reaction. I know you guys have issues with Luke, but this is Luke when he is at the peak of his powers. It would be great to see that. Grogu could be the reason he started teaching in the first place. I would of liked an actor to play Luke but I am not gonna hate too much. Season 2 looks to of spawned 5 potential series. Ahsoka’s search for Ezra, Luke at peak powers and teacher, New Republic struggles with Empire, Book of Fett and hopefully another Mandalorian which will be about Mandalore. This Series was absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Great reaction as always guys.

Y’all get off your Sith fan boi nonsense lol jp, anyone who knows Star Wars and has read the books knows Luke (Legends Luke) is one of the most powerful force welders and lightsaber fighters in history, don’t buy into what the last trilogy did to him. Dave and Jon will correct what the trilogy did. Grogu I guarantee does not die when Kylo destroys the temple, in all honesty I could see Kylo n Grogu being great friends and him sparing him bc we all know Kylo always had his struggle between light and dark or Grogu was already gone bc we still have 30 yrs to get to Kylo destroying the Temple 👌🏼. But that Fett series looks fire 🔥.

Also if it wasn't for Luke the odds were very stacked against Din and his crew. Even if Mando just gave his Beskar spear to Bo Katan or something that's still not enough for everyone else in the room to get bodied immediately, which is a waste since there's still a lot of stories to be told with characters like Bo and Cara Dune. Gideon said it best, Mando still had a tough time fighting one of them and he's supposed to be the strongest in his crew, so what happens when he's outnumbered like that?

I disagree on the points made about Luke and the biggest one is how he wasn't the obvious choice. He was the ONLY choice. If it was Cal or Ezra that basically makes 95% of the people watching confused about everything. It makes sense that the strongest living Jedi is the one who senses Grogu. Cal popping up basically spoils future Fallen Order games to see if he lived, and Ezra popping up makes Ahsoka and Sabine's mission useless. As for the resolution to the darksaber storyline - wtf? That was not built up for 16 episodes considering we only saw it at the end of Season 1. And Din has only now been told about the history of the blade since he didn't seem aware of it. I get not liking the Jedi stuff or just the Skywalkers in general but Season 3 is primed to have nothing to do with the Force and everything to do with Mandalore. If Luke does show up again it will probably be in the Ahsoka show since those two haven't met but are both closely linked to Anakin. And i don't think Luke training Grogu immediately equals him getting slaughtered by Kylo. It makes no sense for him to escape one purge just to pointlessly die in another purge.
