Kylo Ren Sith Academy Reaction!

Comments

should react to kylo ren in the end

Respect to the views but there's another wrinkle in that scene that some might not get about Luke and his relationship to his father's old lightsaber. Luke has never really had an real emotional attachment to the lightsaber except for a period of time after Episode IV and before Episode V. It was a tool, a tool that spoke to him moving forward to a new phase of his life, a life of adventure and exploration. As the comics reveal between Episode V and VI, he doesn't really ever get the old lightsaber back again- this is why it ends up in the end with Maz Kanata. He builds his own to fit his own identity as a budding Jedi Knight. Clearly he has more of an attachment to his own lightsaber that he built with his own hands, but notice that we never see what happened to *that* lightsaber? If he seemingly by this point had no interest in the fate of his own lightsaber (which by the way he owns for decades whereas he only owned his father's lightsaber for a couple of years max) , why would he care about his dad's saber which he hadn't seen by that point for over thirty years? A symbol of the Order who's arrogance and hubris led to the fall of the Republic, the death of his mother and the ravaging of his father's body and very nearly his soul? And an example of his own hubris? Of course a bitter, defeated man would react that way. Especially since he's never had a sacred view of a lightsaber in the first place (at least until the events of Episode V). Kylo/Ben however has a clear reverence for that saber, because to him, it is a relic and symbol of the potency of his ancestral ties to the man hailed as both the greatest Jedi and the active principle of the Empire. And as we see later in Episode IX, clearly he held at least one lightsaber in some form of reverence- his sister's. That probably had as much to do with his feelings or his sister as anything else. But the fact that Lucasfilm didn't create a firmer groundwork for the sequel trilogy and allowed the directors so much leeway in crafting the story without bringing them all together to ensure that the story was on the same page *was* a big mistake. Definitely agree with you there.

This shit top 5 straight up straight up. Ben Solo goat

I enjoyed all the sequels however The Last Jedi just pissed me off over the way Luke tossed his and Anakinโ€™s saber over his back like some Looney Tune character. I get both sides of the argument made here. Disney didnโ€™t do a great job with the story. If they set out with an arch fir his story, they tripped and fell all over their self till the end.

Bruh, leaving this video with a weird feeling of being gassed, frustrated and disappointed at the same time. This video BAAAANGGED. I'm mad proud I'm part of this Sith Academy community. Sith Lords, lightsabres UP!!!!!!! If the Patreon W/L counter was Sith Academy only we'd be at 200 wins already fam

This just pisses me off, why Kylo's story wasn't the main plot line in the trilogy is what I DISLIKED ABOUT THE DAM THING! Like Raven said...it's not strong enough. It's not emphasised. The force is strong with Kylo's story but It's like they said ehh we need to pander, prioritise box office, we need a female lead etc. then just sprinkled elements of this incredible Kylo story throughout the rest of the main one until the last movie after the fans had enough.
