What I love about giving requests and the fam giving us this opportunity is sharing the power of movies and sharing a bit of who we are as people through the movies that moves us. A Time to Kill is one I love... powerful in every way and important in our world.

Boy..that was hard to watch, I remember McConaughey's character was seen as a green lawer who was way over his head, but then he dropped the "now imagine she's whit".. Jeeeeeeeeez!!

This movie is so powerful man. And in the Harriet trailer reaction when you men asked for our top 5 movies that are hard to watch, I had this as my number 2. It’s so fucked up and enraging, however, it has such a satisfying scene where Samuel L Jackson (who’s daughter is the one who is raped and beaten) gets his revenge on these pieces of shit. Which is why he ends up being the one on trial. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. It’s definitely a one and done though. Don’t think I could put myself through watching it again. And it has probably one of his best known quotes: “Yes they deserved to die! And I hope they burn in hell!!!”

This was a good movie, and definitely one of the best closing arguments! It's heartbreaking that he had to flip the script to get the jury to really understand why the man snapped on his daughter's attackers.
