Original Style VS Higher Detail Comparison: Opinions Needed
Added 2021-04-13 13:48:36 +0000 UTCAs you all know I've been experimenting with a new style of rendering that increases the level of detail in the final renders. However, I've been receiving feedback that viewers prefer the classic softer look in comparison to the new detailed renders. I can see why, both styles have their own charm.
I've put up 3 sets of images here in this post. The first set of images are my classic style of rendering that utilizes a tiny bit of contrast. The second set is my new style of rendering without the extra detail. The third set of images is my new style of rendering.
I need you opinions on which set of images you prefer. Do you think the classic softer look or the detailed look is better? Do you think something in between like the second set of images is better? Please comment below and let me know so I can make a decision of how to create future renders.
