Angel & Demon concept

I've recently writen an open announcement about some stuff regarding my comics, and in it i briefly speak about an idea for a possible one shot: Angel & Demon.

It's still in an early idea and i don't want to spoil stuff, but the main idea is a story where God and Satan made their servants compete to see whose are better doing bad and good deeds.. They are ranked in a system, to see which side is getting more points, and what servants are better. They get points for doing good and bad stuff.

With time, none of the sides seem to claim a victory, so God and Satan begin to punish those who are last in the ranking, and rewarding those on top, which each side becoming more agressive until they just kill each other and even compete between the same race, because the punishments/rewards are too big.

The protagonists are an Angel and a Demon, both female. The Angel has the best skills to detect auras in her race, so she can easilly detect where people are in danger, but she's also one of the weakest, so she was on high risk of being punished and stripped of her status as Angel. But a Demon makes her an offer. She's a very strong demon, but she's very bad at reading auras, so she can't find good targets, so they pair up, use the Angel detection to find people in danger, and the Demon beats the crap of everything arround. They use a loophole in the system to make a bond so they win points as a pair, so when the angel win points for the good deed, the demon does it too.

This concept could open a ton of adventures, but my idea, if i do it, would be doing just one of them, which i'll not spoil.

So, what do you think of it?, any ideas or suggestions? if i go with it, i'll publish the designs on patreon as i do them for opinions.

I have in mind introducing a human but i won't spoil the details about it

Perhaps you can tie into the classic conscience image: angel on one shoulder, devil on the other. That is, have them working in tandem but connected to some poor weak human who can't understand why all these crazy things are happening around him (or her). Raises the stakes (vulnerability), adds to humor (confusion), and the Everyman gives your readers someone with which to empathize.

It looks interesting. It'd be nice seeng how the first interactions and negotiation happens, and then having them evade their kin who would get very suspicious of their sudden raise in numbers.
