RoE's Inaugural Weekly Event
Added 2025-03-07 17:00:11 +0000 UTCI'll be running RoE's first manually curated weekly event today. Specific timeframes will be announced in the #roe-events Discord channel. As this is the first event, I'll give a quick primer of what to expect.
First, an event is rolled off a table of prepared events. These events can be one of three types:
1) Automatic. All active players will receive the reward from this event, no participation required.
2) Attendance check. These events require players to apply a reaction to the event. When the deadline passes, present players will receive a reward.
3) Random target. Some events will target a random player. The targeted player will be required to respond within a given timeframe to claim the event's reward, otherwise the GM will select a new target.
All event rewards are up to the discretion of the host, but as a rule of thumb the scale of the reward will be based on how concentrated the event is.
