RoE Growth Strategies

Hey there macros-to-be!

When discussing growth strategies it's important to consider that there are two components: Who you're growing, and what you're growing.

Let's start with who.

Perhaps you have a buddy you want to pump a lot of your growth into, but thanks to target tracking you'll only ever be able to put 50% of your growth into a single other player. Who else do you grow? Other players may catch your eye, but if you really can't decide you can always use the random command! Some have already declared an intent to use nothing but random.

It's worth taking strategy into account, too. See someone benefitting from a lot of growth? You can always put your growth into the smaller folks! Or maybe you want to purposely put growth into someone with steal enabled so that you can immediately siphon it off of them with one of your steal charges!

As for what to grow?

Deciding what to grow will depend entirely what your goals are. Do you want to work toward a desired silhouette right away? Then it may potentially be worthwhile to put off putting growth into height until you achieve the silhouette you desire.

Or you might want to start getting as big as you can as fast as you can! It'll take you longer to get to a desired silhouette, but you'll be getting those stats incidentally as other players share growth with you.

Of course, the starting stats are generous enough that some players may be entirely content with their silhouette out of the gate. Folks under this category will be able to delegate their growth much more freely!

One last thing to consider is fallback logic! Yes, you can use this to your advantage! For example, some folks have already declared an intent to target Slyther's gut for growth even though they have gut disabled themselves; using tactics like this allows you to indulge another player while still having your portion of the growth go to your fallback category.
