This is the worst arc for Sanji but thankfully he mostly has more redeeming moments from here on out

2025-08-11 03:13:37 +0000 UTCThe Sanji simp trope in of itself isn't that annoying and gets some chuckles from me, but the frustration comes from how useless he becomes because of it. All the crew members have weaknesses and hurdles, but they fight and grow to overcome them. Sanji never really makes an effort to do that (no one else has had their comedic value trope cripple them and force the crew to drop everything to save them). He'll get physically stronger sure, but if the enemy is a woman it's an automatic loss for him. Or if there's a woman in the vicinity he won't fight to his fullest. He's got crazy potential but is dragged down by the these crutches and shackles. But that's just who our Sanji is, can't be mad at him for that. Just mad at the situation and what could've been. He has a badass redemption arc though, so the pain is worth it.

2025-08-09 07:12:30 +0000 UTCSanji’s weakness towards women being used as a means to discover the prohibition laws of interracial blood transfusions and discrimination in general is silly but quite brilliant as well. I understand how people would see Sanji’s weakest character trait in being annoying to people. Especially if it’s a constant thing but we can also say the same thing with the rest of the crew (ie. Zoro constantly getting lost lol). It’s really not that bad either. If this is the worst, Sanji almost dying, then I think we’ll be ok 😂. Also, the sound was ok for me. I didn’t have issues with it being too low or anything 😁
