I feel like anything behind a 'gate' is something that this system has control over. Like NPC's in a game. Maybe the Demons had free will and were real beings in a real realm before they got enslaved by this system? Maybe their entire existence is just a construct, as in they literally are just NPCs in Jinwoo's game? So many freaking questions. But regardless, that battle was sick. Loved the part were Seto Kaiba comes in on the back of Blue Eyes White Dragon.

2025-05-31 22:25:21 +0000 UTCI think the system is its own separate thing. Maybe not entirely but with the way Esil explained her being essentially taken from the demon realm to protect this place, leads me to believe that the demons are just pawns as well. The only question is, for what purpose? 🤔
