Bestest Friends - Cammie and Mina

These two are the main characters for that yuri comic patreon goal. Pretty much settled on their designs and personalities at this point. Might tweak some bits here and there, but they're all set to go, for the most part. Cammie's got quite a colorful wardrobe, befitting her personality. In contrast, I wanted to give Mina a minimalist, but "cool", vibe as far as her attire's concerned.

So far, the early part of the story focuses on their last year of high school. They've been friends for several years by this point. But as Cammie prepares to leave their hometown and head off to college, Mina stresses over how her home situation prevents her from doing the same, threatening to separate the two. Compounding this is Mina's secret crush on Cammie, which Cammie has remained completely oblivious to. Mina's kept her feelings secret out of fear of ruining their friendship, but this may be her last chance to confess before Cammie departs from their hometown. Possibly for good.

 Below are some further details that I plucked from the master doc I have on them and this story in general:

Cammie Callaway:

Age: 18

Personality: Loud, friendly, and energetic. She’s very supportive of Mina, and frequently goes out of her way to help Mina out, be it with babysitting her brother, dressing up, improving her ability to socialize, trying to help her get a significant other, etc. Cammie is completely oblivious to Mina’s attraction towards her. She helps Mina open up and express herself better.

Notes: 

• Has known Mina since early grade school.
• From a financially well off family. Money isn’t an issue for her.
• Frequently hangs around Mina’s house to help her baby sit her younger brother.
• An only child.
• Thought Mina was a boy the first time they met. It took her a couple weeks to realize the truth.
• Her parents generally aren’t around and give her free reign over the house. While she enjoys the freedom allowed to her greatly, Cammie feels very lonely.
• Is about as technologically savvy a caveman

Min-Ah “Mina” Moon:

Age: 19

Personality: Quiet, shy, and a little awkward due to being unable to go out and socialize too much. Comes off as cool and aloof, but really just has no idea what to say most of the time. She greatly values her friendship with Cammie while at the same time being attracted to her. She’s hesitant to be open about her feelings out of fear of ruining the friendship and losing her closest friend. She helps keep Cammie’s energy in check.

Notes:

• Has a little brother (7 years old), who she frequently has to stay home to babysit.
• Very much into tokusatsu. Enjoyed it as a kid, and her little brother’s interest in it kept her invested.
• Actually kind of popular around the school (among both guys and girls), but isn’t aware of it.
• In charge of a lot of house duties and usually stuck to home since her mom is frequently away at work.
• Uncomfortable with the idea of piercings or tattoos. 
• Eats a ton but loses weight.
• Practically mainlines coffee to function
• Self-conscious about her lanky figure
• Fixes a lot of Cammie’s electronics
