I just got here from YT so I have to get caught up, but I wanted to comment on this one specifically to say that you are the first reactor I've seen INSTANTLY catch on to Ubel's death wish. When you were like "Does girly WANT to die?" I thought to myself "holy crap, there's that emotional intelligence again."

Four year old Wirbel vowing to kill the demons so the girl he liked could safely move back to their home village, and still fighting demons 29 years later even though he's forgotten her name, echos Old Man Voll defending his village for centures because his wife loved it there, even after forgetting her voice and face and eyes. That's what is confusing the people who are running the test as to why is he trying to become a first class mage so late in life.
