Fun fact: Morgan came out as trans in 2020, only ten years after the Australian Defense Force dropped their policy against accepting trans folk into the military. The fact that Oda and the showrunners chose a trans actor in this instance, I think, truly shows how thoughtful Oda is as a writer, and if there was ever any doubt that he was an ally (there wasn't), those doubts are gone now
