Hi everyone. Firstly thank you so much for the kind words on yesterday's post. I was dreading sharing the news not only because I hate letting people down but also I'm just really sad to have to move on from this type of content. 

There were some questions here and on YouTube regarding the future of my content and how this Patreon will look moving forward, so I thought I'd answer them all here. If there's anything you'd like to ask that I haven't covered here, feel free to leave a comment!

Will you continue One Piece (and other anime) in your own time?

OF COURSE. One Piece has easily become my favourite anime within the last year and there's no way I could stop watching it completely. I will also continue the other shows and more! Could you not upload your anime reactions elsewhere?

In summary, it's hard to get away from the takedowns that are issued from these Japanese companies because they don't often care for/adhere to fair use and trying to argue it with counter claims on YouTube etc, is just not something I want to have to put myself through. Some reactors are uploading their content in Discords, third party websites and Google Drives but ultimately, the content can be at risk anywhere which is why I'm deciding to take a step back as it's just too anxiety inducing to have my main source of income constantly on the line like that. Again, HUGE kudos to anime reactors fighting through this. Please show them love and support, especially in these uncertain times. Are the copyright issues the only reason you're stopping this content?

I'd say this is the huge reason that pushed me towards making this decision which, again, I really did not take lightly. When I tell you I've cried for two weeks straight, this shit has been rough. I do have other reasons for it, and first and foremost I do have to acknowledge that I am extremely blessed and privileged to have been able to do this full-time even in the short-lived time I did. In order to grow with anime reaction content I put a lot of other things in my life on a backburner, and while anime is a HUGE passion of mine, gaming content and streaming is maybe my biggest, and so for a while I've been struggling with a real sense of disconnect and favouring one over the other for the sake of income. And while income is, obviously, highly important, I'm not someone who can push through something their heart isn't fully in just for the sake of money. I'm about to enter extremely uncertain times in terms of finances and the transition is going to be really tough, but I think ultimately it will be better synergy for me and will fit nicely into everything else I currently do. So when you add the copyright issues on top of those doubts, I really felt devastated that it all could be for nothing.

What will happen to this Patreon?

Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, this week I will be transitioning this Patreon into one that is gaming focused. There will be full, uncut playthroughs of games posted here that I don't have time to stream over on Twitch, a few of these ideas include: Persona 5 Royal, Final Fantasty 7 Remake, Little Nightmares 1 & 2 and more. There will also be playthroughs that will eventually make their way to YouTube but Patreon will see them first such as: TLOU Part 1, God of War and God of War: Ragnorok, Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, Devil May Cry 5 and more.

I also have a huge passion for Resident Evil (it's my favourite franchise ever) and plan to post early access content for it on Patreon such as interviews and playthroughs with voice actors, challenge runs, mod runs and the thing I'm MOST excited about: lore video essays. I plan to do 1 big lore video essay project every month or every other month where I deep dive into some aspect of Resident Evil lore, be that individual characters, storylines, villains, games, etc. I'll also be offering a behind the scenes look at these projects for Patrons since they will be unlike any other content I've made before. You'll be able to see the research I put together, how I script it out, how I storyboard the videos, etc.

I'll also post the occasional really silly video like tier lists, multiplayer games with friends, etc.

Patrons here will also in future receive long-time Patron perks such as merchandise discounts (I am planning to release merch this year) and, if you want them, postcards and stickers in the mail from me.

Will the prices on Patreon change?

Yes. I'm going to update these ASAP but my thoughts right now are two tiers: a $2 tier and a $5 tier. A higher $10 tier might be added, but I haven't fully decided on this yet.
