2023-03-14 12:50:55 +0000 UTCCricket's only in his early 40's, but compared to them yeah he's pretty old. All of the crew except Robin are still only teenagers. Luffy and Usopp are 17 Zoro and Sanji are 19 Nami is 18 Chopper is 15 Robin is 28 Also yes, taking notes at this point would probably do you many favors down the line. Maybe even re-watch ep 151 in your free time to jot down all the new names.

The fleet Emirat Sengoku is actually the boss of the whole navy, and a little fact: the bounties of Doflamingo (340 mil) and Bartholomew Kuma (296 mil) were frozen once they’ve become Warlords several years ago. Also look closely at Blackbeards real name 😉

2023-03-13 20:30:34 +0000 UTCThe Seven Warlords as "pirates who crush other pirates" are based on the real life historical government-sanctioned pirates called privateers, who'd target rival countries' shipments, and rival privateers, etc. Definitely recommend taking notes! 151 was when I began writing stuff down in a txt file in my own journey with the series back in the day. I actually still have that txt file though I no longer update it since I'm caught up and can just read the one piece wiki. Here's my notes from that episode, feel free to copy my homework lol: - Shanks sends a message to Whitebeard (Edward Newgate) via his newest nakama, Rockstar, discussing Ace and Blackbeard (Marshall D. Teach). *reminder that Blackbeard used to be under Ace's division in Whitebeard's crew, and Ace is after him for killing one of his fellow nakama. Whitebeard guesses what the letter is about then tears it up and demands "that red-haired brat" comes in person and brings some good booze. - Rockstar contacts Shanks via den-den mushi and informs him about what happened. Shanks is amused, and decides to go in person with some booze. His crew prep for battle, expecting to clash with government forces on the way there. - The Gorosei (5 Elder Stars), the top executives of the World Government, are discussing recent intelligence that came in about Shanks contacting Whitebeard. This is disturbing to them as they consider both of those pirates formidable, and a potential clash would upset "the balance of the Three Great Powers" - The second point dicussed in their meetings was about how they need to have the Navy find a replacement for Crocodile in the Shichibukai. They are opening a file on Luffy, and view him as a problem. - It then cuts to a meeting between the Navy and whoever deems to show up from the Shichibukai. We meet Bartholomew Kuma, a Warlord. We meet Donquixote Doflamingo, another Warlord (who demonstrates a strange ability to control people?) We meet Great Tactician Tsuru, a vice admiral in the Navy. We meet the Fleet Admiral, Sengoku the Buddha. - In the Navy x 7 Warlords meeting, they're discussing Crocodile's replacement. Lafitte shows up and submits his captain Blackbeard's name for consideration. Sengoku states that he's not heard of him, so how would a pirate whose name has no clout be useful in suppressing other pirates? Lafitte replies that they've got a plan in motion that will address this. - It then cuts back to Mock Town, where Blackbeard finds Luffy's wanted poster and sees that his bounty is 100mil. He decides to target Luffy. By taking down Luffy, he'll qualify himself to become one of the 7 Warlords.

2023-03-13 19:30:47 +0000 UTCAhh 151 such an amazing Jam packed episode with world building. No worries if you can't remember it all they just dump all the information. Plus that one shot of Bellamy felt so good. Sengoku is Fleet Admiral of the Marines making him the highest rank. Below the Admirals and Vice Admiral which smoker is. And basically the seven warlords are ex notorious pirates hired by the world government to be used when they need them but they pretty much get a pass and look how Crocodile turned out basically using his title of Warlord to almost get what he wanted in Alabasta. Also if you noticed Black beards name Is Marshall D. Teach interesting that he has the D in name too like Luffy. And for sure keeping notes sounds like a great idea!
