He's shown he's able to be humble/admit mistakes like he did with Vivi when she criticized his leadership. And his selfless climb up the mountain to save Nami and Sanji still gives me chills to this day.

When Vivi finds Usopp in the avalanche, he's mumbling about seeing "a river and a meadow of flowers on the other bank, and is that Zoro swimming in the river?" She freaks out and says don't cross that river! come back! wake up! And slaps him into consciousness. When she finds Zoro he also mumbles about dreaming that he was swimming in a river. The river, of course, is the River Styx, and Usopp and Zoro were on their way to the afterlife lol.
