I consider SD cards to be the current floppy replacement, rather than the cloud.

Nice list, I would say I agree that 80% of them were failures, as I had not even heard of them, except for the Zip Drive, which I used with my Amiga 500 until I stopped using the Amiga itself. Considering that every technology is eventually replaced, what qualifies as a failure? How long it was used for? What percentage of the population used it?
