August 2023 DTNS Briefing

MONTHLY DTNS UPDATE

Hey folks,

August is often seen as a slow time but we have lots brewing this month! Our third annual experiment week is coming August 14-August 18. For that week, we replace our normal DTNS shows with interesting takes on tech. We've had lots of fun stuff come out of these weeks, including The Tech Jawn and BBQ and Tech. So get ready to hear what we try out this year!

I'm also excited for a Pixel Fold roundtable happening Tuesday August 22. Shannon Morse from Morse Code, Huyen Tue Dao from Android Faithful and myself have all been using Google's new foldable in different ways, so we're going to compare our experiences.

And at the end of August, I'll be traveling to Seoul, South Korea! If any of you are in Seoul and would like to meet up let me know. I'd love to have an iced americano or same chimaek with you!

Also a few changes in the faces you see and voices you hear. Rich Stroffolino has taken a full time gig with David Spark's CISO Series. We're happy he's going to a friend and wish all the best! And you'll still hear him filling in from time to time but we have a new rotation on DTNS and DTH.

Megan Morrone is picking up Monday DTNS co-hosting duties and hosting Daily Tech Headlines on Wednesdays. And Robb Dunewood will be your co-host for DTNS on Thursdays, and bringing you the Daily Tech Headlines on Tuesdays and Fridays. You already know them but give them a nice warm welcome shout on whatever social network you prefer.
