Protective Cover aka Folio:

I have the Book Folio in polymer weave for $119. There are two pricier leather options for $169. There’s a sleeve polymer weave option for $69, and there’s a huge after market for Remarkable 2 covers if you want to save money and/or want something Remarkable isn’t providing (Etsy, etc)

Initial thoughts:

E-Reader capability:

Nitpicks:

OVERALL:

The Remarkable 2 is powerhouse for anyone annotating documents, sketching, freeform stuff. Although you can sync over WIFI and email documents easily from the tablet, it’s not really “online”

The security cam is always a popular request, and in the past I always said no because of how my house is laid out, I don't really have people coming up to my door. But now that I think about it a bit more, it *could* work as part of my Airbnb property for security purposes without being invasive, depending on placement. Let me think on it a bit more. - Sarah

As an entry level alternative for digitizing notes, the RocketBook product is a great alternative. Pros include a variety of sizes, free app, and the product itself is non-electronic. The last point means that it can be used in a school setting without raising an eyebrow. Cons are that it requires a very specific type of pen (Ball's FriXion pens) and eventually, the pages do stain or scratch so that they don't write as nicely. On the surface, RocketBook feels like a glorified Google Drive scan. But I find that RocketBook scans more consistently, with color, and based on the destination bubbles, I can send pages to a variety of services.

Sarah, have you done security cameras yet? Maybe you could review something like the Wyze Cam? How about a quadcopter or 3d printer? :)
