We’ve covered a lot of this on the show. Bluetooth’s level accuracy is good enough to be supplemental to manual tracing. The platform is really solid and can’t technically be used by Google or Apple for much of anything even if they did “break in” and take the data somehow. But in the end I agree that this doesn’t provide a lot of benefit compared to the effort. I do think of you could magically make everybody adopt it, it would help. Korea and Taiwan demonstrate that. But it just doesn’t look like that will happen in Europe or the US.
