I'm so excited for this. I worried that I wouldn't get attached to new characters, but I did immediately. Can't wait for more.

I think you guys missed the part where they show how the Baratheons are related to the Targaryens. Also what Daemon did with the city watch is basically the same as Bronn in Season 2.
