I like what you said steve about its hard to be able to predict what is going to happen next this season and that is exactly what they did! Since this was the last season and this was such a big show, they wanted to go out with a bang and I think they did an amazing job! there are a lot of shocking moments like the Echo scene that kinda makes you feel like her character went backwards. But what you have to remember this is a BIG deal. This is supposably the LAST WAR EVER! to keep the human race alive. And who do u want to be with when the world might end? your family and loved ones. Echos family is the last of the 100 and her love is Bellamy. So Echo who is a trained warrior spy is trained in seeing peoples mico expressions and she knew from her training that the look that Orlando gave when Hope killed that one lady she knew what it meant and that his faith is much deeper than their friendship. it was shitty and sucked but in the end she knew what she was doing. also idk if u guys picked up on the bald guy telling Clarke that orlando killed himself and wrote a suicide letter after echo, gabriel and hope left and when clarke asked to see it he didn't give it to her.. aka they were lying. he most likely died of natural causes or starved to death ect. Also Hope wasn't angry at Echo like you would think she would because she knows that hesitation means death like what happened with Dev. so yes it was horrible and he was their friend but they were not his PEOPLE. it makes you really think what would u have done for lacey? or lacey what u would have done for steve or your kids?
