With them coming to Disney plus I really hope they do watch it with hem coming into the mcu

2022-03-24 16:39:54 +0000 UTCSuch a fantastic film. It’s everything great about Spider-Man, with added emotional punch due to having all three together. My favourite is probably still the school rooftop, where they share their pain with each other. Tom Holland really stepped up on this one and I’m excited to see his next one, after a 3 film origin story. We now see him stripped back to basics and more alone than either of the other two were. Willem Dafoe is so good in this film, really chilling and May’s death was handled so well. We didn’t have Uncle Ben but in this world she was that role for Peter. I was grateful for the changes of tone in the film, transitioning from such tragedy to something lighter through the arrival of hope through Garfield and Maguire. Oh, and as with Lost and so many other projects of his, Michael Giacchino brings me to tears with his gorgeous music. This is easily in my top 5 MCU films.
