Loved your reactions guys! This is the 2nd episode where I continued to dislike Tommy a little more for his decisions. It's like I love and hate him at the same time, because he's brilliant and so flawed too. The first decision he makes where I question him a bit is marrying John off without his consent for basically personal gain. Thankfully that turned out good for John, but still :/ and in this episode, using Lizzie like that and causing her to get raped to get a job done. I mean he's rich, he couldn't have just hired a prostitute to do that job and respected Lizzie enough to keep her safe? I understand he uses and trusts only those closest to him, but sometimes it's so wrong to do that and we see it here.
The scene with Tommy facing his death in the open field is one of my favourite and in my opinion, one of his most well acted scenes of the whole show. Cillian Muphy is so underrated. Also RIP Helen McCrory who plays Polly :( hearing you both mention her death was the first time I'd heard about it, and I was glad that you were watching this episode in her memory because she was such a boss in it. :)

As much as we would all love Tommy to be some kind of know all superhero Steve he is a human being and dont get me wrong im with you hate it when his well thought out plans well dont go to plan but like I said he's human and not perfect intelligent and cunning though he is he doesn't have a crystal ball.
