New Milestone - DTNS 6 Days a Week

Thanks to everybody who responded to the post about milestone goals.

It was pretty overwhelming that folks like video as it is and would be interested in other milestones.

For those handful of folks who really wanted the slicker video, do not despair. We may well get there again. 

Meanwhile here's what we plan to happen.

We'll work with Shawn to make the unofficial video feed official. That won't mean much to folks already subscribed. It should continue to stay as it is. We just will have responsibility for it that's all. 

NEW MILESTONE - DTNS DAY 6

I want to gather ideas for other future milestones, so please comment with them. But our first new milestone will be a weekend edition of DTNS that will come out on Sunday.

This will be hosted by Peter Wells in Australia with guests from his part of the world, so it will also be an international edition. We're in the middle of working with Peter on what the show will be but the basic idea is that this is day 6 of DTNS.  It's a Monday show for Peter too so it kicks off the week in his hemisphere. Gets us a little closer to being literally daily. 

If you want a weekly wrap up of tech news don't fret, that could still be a future milestone. 

Peter, Jennie and I will do an episode 00 of this soon to brainstorm ideas of what the show should be and get your feedback.

Lyndsey Gilpin pitching in!

Also we just met with Lyndsey Gilpin, co-author of Follow the Geeks and tech reporter extraordinaire and she's going to pitch in a couple days a week helping to write the show when Jennie's got teaching gigs, as well as maybe filing some reports and blogging. So make her feel welcome if you see her in chat during the post-show OK!

HOLIDAYS

Pretty soon we'll be putting our holiday schedule in writing for sure. When we do there will be a few opportunities to participate if you're interested.
