Notes from our weekly meeting

Hey y'all.  Jennie and I just sat down over peach pie and talked about DTNS.

Literally. Peach pie. Amazing.

Here's what we talked about.

NEW PERK!

We're adding a new perk starting sometimes after August called the "Quarterly meeting" At least that's what it's called for now.

Everyone who is a patron will get access to watch the recorded version of me talking with myself, Jennie, and whoever of the contributors we can rustle up getting together informally and chatting about the show, tech issues etc. Kind of like what we do on the stream after the show.

People at the Co-Executive Producer level will get the link to watch it live as it happens. 

A new ANALYST level will get the chance to call a number and and ask ANALYST-like questions. We don't really have an earnings call. So consider it a learnings call. At least until we come up with something better that rhymes with earnings.

Possible new stretch goal

It's a long way from 16K to 20K especially since we're not moving. So we think we might put in a stretch goal for something fun we'd start doing if we hot like 18K or such. More to come on that. 

Tom off next week

As you may know, Tom is off shooting his still somewhat secret project (I'm told it won't be secret for too much longer).  It won't be in Detroit as expected but instead it's back to Seattle!  Unfortunately there may not be time for a Seattle meetup this time but I'll let you know if that changes. The plan is still to travel to Detroit in August. 

While I'm gone contributors will fill in as per usual. Monday will be the Australians from http://reckoner.com.au/ including Peter Wells and Raj Deut. 

Tuesday will be the Producers! Jennie and Roger with a possible very special guest.  And Wednesday will be Scott Johnson and Jonathan Strickland. 

THEN IT'S NERDTACULAR!

Thursday the show will be recorded very informally at some unknown time, possibly under a tree in Salt Lake City somewhere. 

And Friday the show will be recorded as part of the Nerdtacular 2015 festivities at 2 PM Pacific/ 5 PM Eastern time.

And that's it other than to say thank you for your continuing amazing support. You have made this show possible and we can never thank you enough which is why we just keep doing shows.
